Choosing the right stories

Alexander Spectre takes place during the Industrial Revolution in England and also during the coming of the Victorian age.

In this dark century of advancement of the human society, evil is also awakening from its dormant state.

Before Hellboy and BPRD existed, Alex is the one who goes around London and the uncharted wonders of North America in search for these supernatural stuff.

The stories I carefully choose to tell mustn't clash with the Hellboy's kind of spirits or creatures he encounters because it hasn't happen yet.

The next one is based on the most haunted room in England. And its still
is till now.

The lighting is especially nice on this page.

I think your time of setting it is a good idea as well. There's a rich tradition supernatural and gothic fiction around the time (In contrast to the also awesome modern gothic and urban fantasy/horror stuff) and it's nice to see a fresh take on the stuff.

Your choice of spirit for this one makes me wonder if you're going to engage with the industrial revolution more. The abuse of kids here makes me think of the horrible times the weaver kids had in the mills and I've never seen anyone really do much about that.

Wherever you take Alex I'm really looking forward to reading it. :)

This is ridiculously close to Hellboy, but it has hamsters, therefore it's awesome.

Great comic!

I just saw this in the Hot Comics section and I must say I'm very impressed. The lighting, the art, and everything is very well done! Faved. :)

Oh my, this was amazing!
I loved the story.
I always liked sailor ghost stories, they are maybe the most terrifying of them all.
This was just brilliant. It gave me the creeps and in the same time touched me.
: )
